![]() ![]() The water effects of your every step, the bending of the boards as you cross over empty spaces, all add to a believable world that you are running around in. There was nothing difficult in this game that can't be figured out after 2-3 tries in the most difficult of areas, but the unnarrated story of the world you experience mixed with the smooth animated characters movement makes for a satisfying game to play. This makes for quite a somber atmosphere which fits well in the Orwellian world that you journey through. The main character is what has the most colors, everything else is a different type of grayish type of color. The palette for Inside is rather dark, not as much contrast as Limbo, there original game, but still quite a dark palette nonethless. In order to solve puzzles you can control other enslaved humanoids to help you move heavy items, throw you to hard to reach areas, and more. The games lasts about 4 hours, all while dodging enemy humanoid, dogs, and robots. Inside plays as a simple 2.5D platforming game with puzzles to help you move along the continuous level. Either the humanoids that he meets on his journey are slumped or under some type of control, sometimes yours, or they are after you knowing that you are not conforming to the rest that are slumped or under control. Inside has you control a boy who seems to be running from the dystopian world that surrounds him. ![]()
